The EU spokesman has said that the issue of Serbia's parallel institutions in Kosovo should be addressed in the EU-launched dialogue in Brussels.
Peter Stano was asked about the Serbian side's claims of arresting a Kosovo Serb who is alleged to be the principal of a school in Kosovo, which is said to have had an illegal stamp with him.
“We are following developments on reports of the arrest of the Kosovo Serb director of a stamp school allegedly owned by an illegal seal during entry into Kosovo. I can remind you that the EU has always been very, very clear that the status and transition of some of the basic public and social services supported by Serbia, especially health care and the school system and education, these issues should be addressed in the EU facilitated dialogue”, Stano said at today's media conference.
He stressed that unilateral <x0 actions to limit access to these services will have negative effects on people's lives and living conditions for Kosovo Serbs and other communities, and that means failing to realise Kosovo's obligations for European integration”.
