However, it stresses that there have been no concrete answers to the matter so far.
This is my personal position, not necessarily other institutions. I said this relates to the way we acted in 2007-2008. When Serbia failed to implement agreements, we had agreements with our partners and allies. Even though Kosovo implemented Ahtisaari's package unilaterally, we gained independence, recognition and membership in international organisation”, the head of state says.
“If international partners are interested in sitting down and linking the implementation of agreements with international support, security guarantees, recognition and membership in international organisations, this would be a new situation. However, so far there have been no concrete answers from the international community on this issue” Osmani told Kosovo Press.
She also stressed that Serbia cannot act as if there is no obligation and that implementation of agreements cannot be required only from Kosovo. He said the evidence that a draft of the statute is sent to the Constitutional Court should be adopted as an act of law by the Government.
Without such an act, no one can submit the draft statute to the Constitutional Court. The procedures are clear, and the Court has clarified the procedure”, Osmani stressed.
