According to the municipality from the presidency, at the meeting, President Osmani thanked Minister Bettel for Luxembourg's continued support for Kosovo and at the same time laid out the need for it to continue with support for Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe.
According to President Osmani, Kosovo continues to remain steadfast on its path towards European integration, so in this direction it has made notable progress in the area of democracy, rule of law and human rights.
Furthermore, Osmani argued that progress in the European Reforms Agency reflects a strong readiness for EU membership.
Kosovo has taken important steps to meet EU criteria, implementing reforms that promote regional stability and increase economic stability”, Osmani was quoted in the Presidency Community.
President Osmani praised Minister Bettel for the new facility of the Luxembourg Embassy in Kosovo, which is inaugurated tonight, demonstrating confidence that this creates preconditions for intensifying reports between the two states.
Among other things, President Osmani and Minister Bettel also discussed opportunities to boost bilateral co-operation in various areas of common interest.
