“The Ministry of Culture is making the biggest investment ever made at the National Theatre of Kosovo, complete restoration and awake of its spaces.
Professors from six Pristina University faculties have been engaged in drafting this project while we are equipped with permission from the Kosovo Institute for Protection of Monuments.
The removal of timber in the vicinity of the theatre has been envisioned in the project because its roots have been based on the walls of the building structure, thus damaging the structure and unable to realise management jobs, reinforce foundations and continue to implement the project. We're making sure the project is fully implemented, and jobs are developed in the most professional way. Of course, the cut wood will be replaced. The green spaces are ahead and will be implemented in detail.”, said the ministry's clarification.
