Halimi is currently the director of culture in the Pristina municipality.

I have accepted the nomination to be a candidate for deputy of the Democratic League of Kosovo, as part of the list for Pristina, presented by Chairman Lumir Abdixhiku.

As director of Culture, I have refused to get involved in political debates, wanting to maintain institutional integrity.

Serving the state is a responsibility and accomplishing it as part of the LDK is also pride.

This nomination for me is a civic call to represent and to give voice to ideas of the new “Street,” that I strongly believe will bring about fair governance, inspired by the most democratic values.
