Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, during the 2025 budget presentation, has again attacked the Constitutional Court, saying it makes more political balance than sharing justice.
Kurti, during his speech at the Kosovo Assembly session before MPs, has mentioned the Law on the ceiling price that was brought down by the Constitution, as well as the Law on Minimum Rewards.
This court, which most often makes political balance than sharing justice, brought down one law for the ceiling price while adopting the other, the one for the minimum wage. Too bad, anyway. For the first, because it never went into effect, and for the second, because its implementation was delayed for a year,” has declared Kurti.
And it has been commended for the budget they designed for 2025.
The bigger the state budget is every year, the earlier it is presented in the Assembly. Other budget characteristics 2025 are as follows: the budget for salaries and additions is 13.5 percent higher than in 2024, the budget for goods and services is 3.2 percent higher, while the budget for subsidies and transfers is 8.75 percent higher. These include new measures, such as pensions, child additions, and economic recovery”.
According to him, local flour has grown nearly seven times more than in 2000 and three times more than in 2008.
In these years of governance, gross domestic product has increased, so much so that for the first time this year it will exceed the figure of 10 billion euros, while by next year it is expected to reach over 11 billion euros. This year, the gross domestic product is nearly seven times higher than in 2000, the first year after its liberation; approximately three times higher than in 2008, the year of its declaration of independence, and nearly 50 percent higher than in 2019, the last year before the pandemic”, he added. /albanian mail/
