KFOR's US and German soldiers train KSF

The US Army's “and German Army soldiers assigned to the Regional Command in the East of the NATO-led mission KFOR joined in carrying out various trainings, such as the Khhot and the command recently trained and familiarisation with the UH-60M Blackhawk” helicopter, KFOR has announced.
Hot and cool training is a kind of training for loading and downloading supplies and troops from helicopters, using two different methods: when the helicopter is on fire and loading is done by helicopter in the air or on the ground but on fire, and when the helicopter is shut down.
KFOR said the training allows ground units and flight crews to better understand the needs and capabilities of each other's mission, KFOR said.
“Kosovo Forces soldiers continue to work together and stay prepared for CHAair operation operation either for emergency or patrol response to the administrative border line”.
KFOR reiterated that it continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 to contribute to a safe environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement, “at any time and impartially”.
KFOR added that it works in close co-ordination with Kosovo Police and EULEX in their respective roles as security reactors. /Express/
