(2 years ago)At the special Commission's meeting for the examination of judges' candidates at the Constitutional Court on Tuesday, it was concluded that five candidates have applied and the same meet the formal conditions to run for two judges' positions. The candidates are: Selman Ymer, Flamur Mracori, Ardita Hadzinikaj-Demi, Ramadan Gashi and Avdylkadra Mucaj, reports “Justice Trust”.
The Commission also decided at this meeting that oral interviews should be conducted for these candidates on November 14, 2024.
Presented by members of this commission were MPs: Adnan Rrustemi, Pal Lekaj, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, Driton Selmanaj, Ombudsman: Naim Celaj and the head of the Constitutional Court: Grace Cakay-Niman.
Otherwise, the past meeting of this commission had failed to be held in the absence of quorum.
