The 67-year-old was traveling with his motorcycle wife when she crashed into Lici's car and Bushat, who were the targets of the assassination. His wife lost her life in the country. Hamza Lic also lost his life at the time of the assassination, and Arlind Bushati died in the hospital the following day.
The authors of the serious event, now with four victims, are still unidentified.
The assassination resurfaced the harsh multiyear conflict between the Bajri and Lici tribes once again. According to preliminary police data, the target of this assassination has been one of the victims, Hamza Lici, who traveled in the vehicle along with Arlind Busati, who also was killed by the hail of bullets.
If the two victims were targeted by authors, accidentally the victim of the event was also victimized by the citizen Butan Basha, who was riding on a motorcycle with her husband, Bashkim Basha.
As the target of this assassination, the main suspicions of the Shkodra police are that the event may be ordered by the Bajri tribe, starting with a long-term conflict that has caused several deaths between the Lici and Bajri tribes.
Police suspect that the killers have started firing from a Land Rover vehicle some 150m away and, after approaching the side of the vehicle in which Hamza Lici and Arlind Bushati were located, have shot down by hail.
Police suspect at least three people were in the author's vehicle - two shooting and driver of the vehicle. Immediately after the event, the author's vehicle left the site and burned near the former military force in the village of Golem, not more than five minutes from where the assassination occurred.
The authors have made sure that the vehicle is completely burned, leaving no valid evidence for the police, even though weapons allegedly used in the assassination have been found inside it. Meanwhile, Shkodra police have accompanied several people, including members of the Bajri tribe, but still have no concrete data on the authors, who are suspected of being paid and naturally well trained for such assassinations.
Despite the police's commitment, the RENEA forces and Shkodra prosecution, the event, except for doubts, still has no concrete indication of its full bleaching.
