MPs will review the draft budgetary division bill for 2025, proposed by the Government, worth 3.6 billion euros.
According to executive planning from next year's budget, 930m euros are planned for capital investments.
Government projections speak of implementation of projects that will affect the improvement of the transport network, electricity, conditions in education and health, a large part of the projects and tools will be maintained this year.
916.5m euros from the budget are earmarked for salaries and additions, as well as 535.97m for goods and services.
Only for the salaries of members of the Kosovo Assembly are more than 3.6m euros earmarked, salaries for the presidents' office over 1m euros, as well as for Prime Minister Kurti's cabinet over 1m.
The budget for the central level is expected to be over 2 billion and 757m euros, while for the local level around 788m euros.
Hundreds of millions of euros have also been earmarked for health institutions. Regional hospital spending during 2025 totals over 54m euros, including their own income and government grants.
Over 10m euros have been earmarked for the CKUK, while for the Terriary Medical Services, over 3 million.
Millions of euros have also been earmarked for education. Over 360,000 euros will only be spent on teacher training, while over 452 thousand for professional education. 200 thousand euros will be earmarked for support of students with extraordinary potential.
For Trepca mines, spending on the 2025 budget amounts to 3m euros. While 7.5m euros have been earmarked for the current reserve category.
The government predicts economic growth this year will be 4.5 % while, next year, it is scheduled to be 5.6%
Opposition PDK parties, the AAK's LDK have warned they will not vote on the Kosovo draft for next year. But the position is convinced it has the votes to approve the budget. The budget for 2025 will be 3.6 billion euros, or about 300m euros higher than the 2024 budget.
