Health Minister Arben Vitita has said that frequent checks in case of changes and mammography are very important for preventing and curing this disease.
He has said that in the past two years, over 50 percent of women diagnosed with breast cancer have been in the first or second stage. This, he says, shows awareness of women and increases opportunities for successful treatment.
Frequent tests in case of changes and mamoggarphy are very important for preventing and curing breast cancer. Last year we started with mobile mammography service in northern municipalities. We're also working on on oncology decentralisation in other countries. The list of essential drugs has now expanded to 60m euros,
Only oncology is 5m euros”.
The Bay Restructuring Operations offer free public health. Encourage all wives and husbands to consult their doctor constantly. The essential part remains awareness and control itself. It is very good news that over the past two years, we have had an increase in early exposure to breast cancer, over 50 percent of women diagnosed with this disease are in the first and second stage, which shows awareness of women but also increases the possibilities for a successful” treatment, he said.
One of the breast cancer survivors, at the same time director of the Kosovar Bay Cancer Centre “jeta/Vita”, Nafije Latifi, has said that women in Kosovo today have access to diagnosis and complete treatment of breast cancer.
“My breast cancer challenge started 20 years ago. It was the first public confession because the topic was taboo, it was a deliberate confession of consciousness and information about the disease and the need for control. Today, some 450 new women face these challenges each year. But these women are lucky because today in Kosovo it is possible to diagnose and complete treatment of breast cancer, even though there is still a need to improve conditions”, she has said.
Even the director of Radicology at QKUK, Sheldije Nuza, has said that early diagnosis of the disease is very important. She noted that breast cancer can affect men, not just women.
The breast cancer affects not only women, who are one in 8 women attacked by breast cancer, but it is a disease that affects the male gender. The early death of cancer saves lives. We should always pay a great deal of importance to those who are affected”, she said.
