After meeting Vucinqi, Borrell and Lajcak start meeting with Kurti

EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell's meeting of EU envoy for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue Miroslav Lajcak has started with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti in Brussels.

Initially, European officials met with Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq.

The trilateral meeting will be held at 11:00, and the topic of discussion will have implementation of the Agreement on normalisation of relations, the REL writes.

The meeting comes at the time of high tensions in northern Kosovo. The situation there has been exasperated since late May. At the time, groups of Serbs had started protests to oppose the deployment of Albanian mayors under police escort to municipal offices in the north./foto news: ap/
