Two Hungarian KFOR soldiers who were attacked by Serbs in Zvecan are also amputated on their feet

Meanwhile, KFOR's mission to Kosovo through a communique directed to the media had confirmed that from the transition to the north on May 29th, 30 soldiers were injured, with 19 of them from the Hungarian contingent.

The number of peacekeepers injured during the violence in the Zvecan municipality is 30. 11 soldiers from the Italian contingent and 19 from the Hungarian contingent. They have suffered multiple injuries, including cracks and burns from improvised explosive devices. Three Hungarian soldiers were injured by the use of weapons”, KFOR had confirmed.

Meanwhile, the Hungarian ministry had announced that most of the soldiers have returned to their homes, but the situation of the two soldiers is still serious and they are still being treated at the hospital.

Their recovery, the Hungarian Defence Forces and military doctors are doing everything to the maximum. Despite the high level of medical care, after a preliminary consultation with the patient, taking into account the results of treatment offered since the injury, one of the cases had the obligation of amputation of a member who was conducted Friday at the National Institute of Medical Rehabilitation. Kosovo Police, journalists and cameramen have also been injured by tensions in the north.

Also, official cars were damaged, as were media cars that reported from the ground.

Currently, the situation in four northern municipalities -- Zvecan, northern Mitrovica, Zubin Potok and Leposaviq -- is reported to be calm, meanwhile, KFOR and Kosovo Police continue to have increased troops in these municipalities.

While the lawyer from Serbia, Cedomir Stojkovic, has reacted to the social X network (former Twitter).
