Bedri Krasniqi acquitted of killing UNMIK and Kosovo police, Dizdar sentenced to 8 years in prison

This decision was made by the chairman of the court in the case, Arben Hoti.
The indictment over the actual murder case was set up on July 21st 2017, with which the accused charged him with criminal offence and attempted murder.
At that world these charges fell to the burden of four indictees, Bedri Krasniqi, Alban Dezdari, Bajram Kiqmar, Faik Shaqiri, but the Supreme Court through a November act of Kiqmar and Shaqiri had released them after the two indictees were tried years ago and there is an act of trial for ending their investigations.
The former District Court in Pristina had acquitted Nazim Kadriun, Arben Ahmeti, Arsim Rashit, Jeton Sylejman, Osman Kelmendi, Florim Ejupi, Xhavit Kosumi, Faik Shaqiri, Nerr Kelmendin, Xhafer Zymberaj and Bajram Kiqmarin, while Shkumbin Mehmet had convicted and sentenced him to 30 years in prison on November 9th 2007.
Always according to the indictment, in 23.3.2004 in Podujevo, in co-operation with Agron Sylejmani, Florim Ejupi and Shkumbin Mehmetin, had attacked a UNMIK patrol patrol who were patrolling near the village of Shakovica.
It further notes that the accused had shot at least 108 times in the direction of the vehicle and the four persons in it, deprived of life of UNMIK police official Possible Essuman and Kosovo Police Officer Arsim Rrutoll, who had been in office.
Kosovo Police Official Basri Mulqi, Kosovo translator UNMIK's Rame Zenelli had suffered injuries as a result of fired bullets.
According to EULEX's indictment, the accused had deliberately risked the lives of other persons who were on vehicles following UNMIK's car, as well as those two murders.
