VVA MP: Internationals are acting like masters, Deputy Prime Minister Radomirovic was not at war.

Vetevendosje Movement MP Arber Rexhaj says elections in northern Kosovo can only be organised through petition.

According to him, this is the only legal form that citizens of the Serb community in four northern municipalities can testify to the rejection of current mayors and the differential from criminal gangs there
Rexhaj for Kosova Press has demanded from the European Union the removal of punitive measures against Kosovo, as it calls opposition criticism groundless against the executive.

We've always said whether there's actually rejection by Serbian citizens for current heads of law, not through criminal gangs that not only protested, but their acts were barbarous acts, so we declared two terrorists. The mayors there want to continue the job, as they are elected by citizens' votes, although they are solid and have legitimacy to lead. It's not the mayor's wish to leave their positions. If local Serbs are willing there to have their mayors take part in the elections, they can be organised through a petition that we have accepted”, Rexaj says.

The majority MP is optimistic that the letter of Western MPs, requiring tougher access to Serbia, will affect the decision-making factor in the European Union and the United States of America.

The international factor's course so far has been pressure on Kosovo, mainly on two plains, to remove police in the north and continue the issue of Association. In reality, when we've had another discurs in relation to these two themes, pressure is largely left in Kosovo. I think the international factor has also seen that we are not against the United States of America or other international relief factors, but we have it because of extending sovereignty and legitimacy throughout the country and in particular in the north. This approach of these has led to a positive step, of course I appreciate as a good issue and I believe it will affect that the international factor will see what Serbia” is doing, he declares.

However, Rexhaj criticises the international approach to Kosovo, as according to him, the same are acting as if they were the masters of Kosovo.

The international approach to Kosovo has been unfair. I'm allowed to be an MP and I have the right to express my thoughts in free form, my master's approach. We have no master, we are the independent Republic of Kosovo, certainly with the help of the United States and NATO, without which freedom would not have been won. But, in response to the north and the Association, we've made clear our consistance. We, even when we were in opposition, were radical opposition, certainly using all democratic means to stop this. Of course I wonder how they have expected us to tolerate corruption, organised crime there, and Serbia within Kosovo”, he points out.

Responding to opposition criticism that power is co-operating with the Serbian List, MP Rajj says that this is not true, as facts on the field speak otherwise.

According to him, the head of the LVV Parliamentary Group, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, of course, has the obligation to discuss with representatives of minorities in parliament for laws and other Assembly issues.

Each of our co-operation with the Serbian List, when the facts on the field speak otherwise, are lies which can be highlighted by the opposition. It is a kind of propaganda to show that even the Vetevendosje Movement is both the PDK, the LDK and the AAK and that it does not make any difference. Mimoza Kusari in the quality of the parliamentary group's chief, of course, has discussed certain laws, topics and issues and naturally wanted to take the vote. But we have not had cooperation beyond that, the only co-operation has been within the” Parliament, Rexaj adds.

Rexhaj also speaks of reports that Deputy Minister for Communities and Kthim, Radomirovic, has been participating in the Kosovo war, but which he denies.

“As far as appointments are concerned, you know that at the Kosovo-Serbia crash point, anyone who co-operates with institutions and LVVs, especially in municipalities in the north, Serbia has blackmailed citizens there, burning cars and homes. In this case, imagine when one of them comes as director, and they also pronounce him a traitor. In fact, the deputy minister from the Serb community came out and explained that he was not a participant in the Kosovo war. I've personally dealt with these cases and I'm interested in war criminals, I've done research and his name doesn't figure out the war crimes part. The Special Prosecutor has now begun prosecuting war criminals and if he were such, he would be arrested”, Rexaj concludes. / KP
