Meanwhile, there were 29 thousand and 508 less than the same period in the preceding year, while inactive persons were 27 thousand and 10 less than in the same period of the year.
According to the results of the Workers Power Survey for the fourth three-month 2022 (TM2022), employed persons were 8 thousand and 789 more than in the same period of the year.
The report also says that unemployed persons were 38 thousand and 298 less than in the same period of the year.
According to the AKS, the unemployment rate in the country is 11.8% in TM4 2022, or 1 per cent higher than in TM3 2022 was 10.8%.

Also, according to the AKS, the percentage of employed men was 4.1% higher than in the same period of the year. The percentage of women employed, however, was 0.3% higher than in the same period of the year.
The employment storm was 2,3% higher than in the same period in the previous year. The unemployment rate was lower for (-7.2%) than in the same period of the year. And in youth (15-24), the unemployment rate was lower for (-15,6%) than in the same period of the preliminary year”, the report says.
Meanwhile, the rate of inactivity continues to remain quite high (61.5 %), increasing by 0.6 per cent compared to the same quarter of the preceding year.

Trade, construction, and education lead with employment
According to the AKS, the economic sectors, which lead with employment, continue to be: trade by 18.7%, construction 12.1%, education by 10.3%, public administration and defence by 9.2%, production by 8.2%, etc.
The names were employed, mainly in the education, trade and health care sectors, with 55.2% of them. While, the males were mainly employed in the trade, construction, public administration and protection sectors, production, as well as in the duty sectors for accommodation and food service, with 62,6%”, the report said.
