Special Prosecutor Raises Charges Against Ex-Disents of the Ministry of Infrastructure

Kosovo special prosecutor today has filed charges against 10 people suspected of misusing the official position among them, former ministry secretary Betim Recica, former procurement manager Valmira Blace and former deputy minister Muhamet Gashi.

In the prosecution's announcement, it is said that the same “of co-ordination using office and official authority, as well as, overcoming their legal competencies, deliberately acted contrary to the Procuration Law, the Law for Budget Breaks of 2019, the Law on Management Public Finance and responsibilities, as well as other legal and legal acts”.

The Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo (PSRK) has filed an indictment at the Constitutional Court in Pristina today, against ten (10) defendants with initials B.R. V.B. E.M. B.D. N.P. G.M. I.B. and M.G.

The Special Prosecutor reports that defendants who were superior to the quality of official persons, in co-ordination using office and official authority, as well as, overstepping their legal competencies, deliberately acted contrary to the Procurement Law, the Law for Budget Divisions of 2019, the Law on Management Public Finance and responsibilities, as well as other legal and legal acts.

With these actions, defendants B.R. V.B. Mr. J.A. E.M. B.D. N.P. G.M. I.B. and M.G. in co-ordination they have carried out criminal work, using official position or authority, sanctioned by Article 1414 paragraph 2, regarding 31 of the Republic of Kosovo's Penal Code.

Meanwhile, the defendant V.B. He is also charged with criminal activity for falsification of the official document, by Article 427 paragraphs 1 of the Penal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
