On Thursday, August 17th, beginning at 11: 00 p.m., in the large hall of Media Centre (Trazje 3) an urgent press conference will be held on the occasion of a significant increase in graphs with message hate speech in public space. and escorts to social networks inviting and celebrating violence, war and genocide, the Crocodil Association announced.
The conference is organised by Milos Janković, lawyer, by the Crocodil Society, Milena Beryić and Vladimir Arseniyevic, Milan Filipovovic of YUCOM and Sofia Todorović from the Youth Initiative for Human Rights.
In a period of just a few days, during July, more than fifty X-rays produced illegally (mataally) 40 m2 with the inscription “when the army returns to Kosovo...”.
Each graph was drawn by over 50 people gathered mainly around the Delia Sever fan group and the messages calling and celebrating violence, war and genocide accompanied these actions and spread to social networks.
The material for the realisation of each graph costs an average of seven hundred euros, and no single act of vandalizing walls in public space has been sanctioned by competent state bodies.
This graphite wave was initiated with the legal removal of the inscription “when the army returns to Kosovo...” and the creation of a mural in the park in Miticeva Rupa from the Institute of Kimys, Technology and Metallurgy. The museum that the artist painted on the institute wall has again been vandalised in ten days.
Today, that wall, which has been legally restored to its former condition, is guarded by police patrols twenty-four hours a day. /Danas
