The Greek government has accepted assistance from Albania for the heat situation. The defence ministry reports that 10 fire vehicles and 58 firefighters will now go towards the neighbouring country. More specifically, 58 fire forces, 10 vehicles from the Armed Forces and other operational structures of the Albanian Civil Protection System, fire facilities from the Korca municipality, Drupul, Maliq and Gjirokastra have been launched to help Greece. Today morning Greece rejected Albania's help, saying they no longer needed it.
Despite last days' tensions to the Beler case, Albania was ready to help Greece, where 26 victims of fires have so far been marked.
