At a more journalistial conference in Brussels, Stano has underlined that at the beginning of June, the European Union has clearly measured Kosovo's duties.

In this case, he reiterated that official Pristina should withdraw all police forces from municipal buildings, remove mayors from these buildings and enable their activities from alternative objects, as well as announce extraordinary elections for four municipalities in the north, with the participation of local Serbs.

Stano confirmed that the EU welcomed the July agreement reached in Bratislava in the middle of Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi and European Minister for Dialogue Miroslav Lajcak, but acknowledged that this is not enough for the removal of measures that are imposed in mid-June.

All these are very important steps, steps in the right direction, but further steps” are needed, the European Union spokesman cautioned.

Only after meeting the conditions towards de-terity, Stano considers that the parties can turn to the dialogue process for normalising relations with emphasis on implementing the agreement reached in February and the annex agreed in March in Ohrid. Without progress in dialogue, Peter Stano orders no progress in the EU.
