Albania's Prime Minister, Edi Rama, has reacted after Serbia's Defence Minister Milos Vuchev threatened Montenegro and northern Macedonia that they would be hit as Ukraine, since they have recognised Kosovo's independence.
Rama named Belgrade's “dangerous and unacceptable” threats, the Express reports.
“The threats against the stability and integrity of Northern Macedonia and Montenegro are dangerous and unacceptable”, Rama wrote on the social network “X”.
He recalled that Albania, Northern Macedonia and Montenegro are allies in NATO and that they are committed to each other on security issues.
Remember, Albania, Northern Macedonia and Montenegro are NATO allies fully dedicated to each other's security and territorial integrity”, Rama wrote.
Vuchevic spoke of international support for the creation of “Greater Albania”, stressing that this is not only a question of Serbia, but also of its neighbours. But Rama said the future is “The Great Europe”.
“We've achieved in the last decade in this region what no one could imagine in decades of time and can't and won't let anyone pull us back into the past that we're leaving forever! Together! Great Europe is our only future”, the prime minister of Albania wrote.
