I promised for July, Nagavci now says he hopes that the books will be distributed “at” in late August

Education Minister Arberie Nagavci has announced about some new developments regarding the distribution of textbooks in Kosovo. Although she had earlier promised that the supply would take place at the end of July, she currently says she hopes school books will be distributed “with a time” before the start of the new year [...]
Education Minister Arberie Nagavci has said in mid-August that she hopes the textbooks will be distributed to students “with a time of” when there are still two weeks left since the start of the new school year. However, a year ago she promised that the supply would take place at the end of July.
“School Texts will no longer be sent to our schools in early September during the learning process, but, much earlier in time, at the end of July”, Nagavci declared last year. A day earlier, KOHA reported the delay. And on Tuesday, the Communist Association called for the quick distribution of texts.
At a media conference, Minister Nagavci has said he has not seen the AKK response, but has added that the process of distributing textbooks “is faced with many challenges”.
While he has said that it is for the ministry to send quality texts, Nagavci has added that he hopes the supply will become “over the time”.
“I hope that we can eventually supply students with textbooks, however, we are considering the possibility that there will be no delays in this direction that is being created because of various reasons. As much as I've been notified by the team negotiating contracts for the purchase of texts, I've seen very large abnormalities, I've seen textbooks defined with large sums, 13, 14 and 15 euros, and as the minister, of course we have the responsibility to care for the state budget except for the quality of text”, she said.
She has said that at the end of the week she will inform more clearly about the process and changes planned in terms of providing children with textbooks.
It has been praised for “improving the quality of textbooks, starting with the application of alternative text, allowing professional advice to be decided on text in which children will work”.
He also said August has launched the process of reviewing textbooks.
“has developed an assessment of the textbooks of Albanian and Mathematics languages from first to ninth grade. Last week I received reports of these classes and there are very valuable findings that will help improve quality. You also know that we have sent the new Law on Texts and Teachings to the Parliament. It's a series of actions and activities that we've undertaken to make sure that the texts our children are learning from are the most quality”, she said.
