Meheaj is honoured by German ambassador with the military order of Germany's Federal Armed Forces

The military command-sharing ceremony has been held at the residence of German Ambassador Jorn Rohde, and Prime Minister Albin Kurti has also attended.

Republika Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, at the invitation of Germany's ambassador to Kosovo, Jörn Rohde, attended the military command-sharing ceremony “Honorary Cross at the Ar” of Germany's Federal Armed Forces for the former Defence Minister, Armend Mehaj.

This ceremony, held at the residence of German Ambassador Rohde, through this decoration was once again praised as work, co-operation, professionalism and the commitment of former Prime Minister Meha to the Government of the Republic of Kosovo during the 29 months that exercised the position of defence minister”, the prime minister's office has announced.

Otherwise, Prime Minister Albin Kurti released Mehej from office of the defence minister on Monday. Mehe said it was done at his request, for family reasons.

Instead of Mejaj, Defense Minister has been named Ejup Macedonia.
