Macedonian police are looking for the author who placed the flag “Autoctonous” during Kurti's visit

For this reason, police have published a photograph of the person asking for the help of citizens who invite them to inform the nearest police station if they have information.
For the two mayors of Cair and Tetovo municipalities, criminal charges have already been filed for disrespecting the country's laws, revealing only the Albanian flag, not the state.
Albin Kurt's visit to the predominantly Albanian municipalities in northern Macedonia was accompanied by debate in Macedonian public opinion, because it became the banner of Greater Albania, and according to the highest political leaders in Northern Macedonia the behaviour used during that visit was nationalist.
Severe reactions took place in Belgrade, where Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic accused Prime Minister Kurti of posing a threat to neighbouring states where Albanians live.
