On 19 August, LDK deputy chairman Lutfi Haziri has visited the former KLA leaders in The Hague.
Haziri has visited Hashim Thaci, who, along with Kadri Veselin, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi already, as former KLA leaders, are facing a court process for alleged KLA crimes during the war in Kosovo.
Periscop has learned that Haziri, along with some of his friends, has visited Thaci at The Hague last week, but has yet to comment on the visit, which seems to have chosen to keep him private.
Periscope has contacted Mr. Perscope. Haziri over the phone to ask about his visit, but he wasn't available.
A year earlier, former LDK leader Isa Mustafa had already visited former KLA leaders in The Hague, saying he believes their innocence and the fair fight of the KLA”.
The trial process against Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi has started five months ago, following a pretrial procedure for nearly three years.
The Act against them was confirmed in November 2020 to be changed then on September 3, 2021, April 29, and September 30, 2022, where the specialised prosecutor claims to have committed war crimes.
To close the prosecution case, it has been said to take up to 5 and a half years. /Periscope.
