Besnik Mujejci, the Asamblist of the Vetevendosje Movement in Pristina, has been arrested yesterday in Albania along with four others under suspicion of narcotics trafficking.
A total of 11,000 and 300 ecstasy tablets were seized during the State Police operation MDMA, worth the market of around 400,000 euros.
Mujejci, along with four other people, Mithat Ramadani as well as residents in Pristina and Kalem Picari, Ambra Miftari and Daniel Avdija, all three residents in Tirana, allegedly passed drugs through Pristina-Tirana bus lines.
KALLXO.com sources within the State Prosecution in Albania have suggested that the two persons arrested -- Kosovo citizens -- will not be extradited to Kosovo.
Also, sources have indicated that the following will require additional information for these two persons from Kosovo authorities.
According to State Police, the influx of the tourist season in Albania this summer was also used for drug trafficking from Kosovo to Albania.
Drugs were said to be transported via Pristina-Tirana bus lines.
State police have announced that after the drugs arrived in Tirana, they were transported in rented cars.
Transportation took place in capital and other cities, mainly coastal countries.
The police actions that were taken have proved that exchange countries were assigned to public places with many movements and influxs.
“To reach agreements with traders of synthetic drugs in Albania, traffickers demanded advance payment, or even to release vehicles as guarantees” states in the State Police report.
Except ecstasy pills MDMA, State Police during the action also seized an amount of cannabis narcotics, a vehicle, as well as five phones.
After that, the Vetevendosje Movement has expelled Mujecin from the party.
