Albania, invited to the presidential level, will not be represented at this meeting due to its default agenda.

The ANA news agency MPA reports that Prime Minister Mitsotakis's initiative to invite leaders of the Western Balkans and EU member states to the Maximo Mansion for an informal dinner discussion on the region's enlargement and European future underscores Greece's role as a pillar for stability, peace and energy security in the Balkans and Southeast Europe.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Charles Michel have responded positively to Mitsotakis's invitation, something that is essential and symbolic.

In addition to Kurti, from regional leaders, North Macedonia Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski, Montenegrin President Jakov Milatovic, Bosnia and Herzegovina Council of Ministers head Borjana Christo, as well as former Serbian President of Milosevic Aleksandar Vuciq will participate.

Leaders of countries that are EU members as Bulgaria's prime minister, Nikolay Denkov, Croatia's Andrey Plenkov, and Romania's Ion-Marsel Ciolacu will participate in informal dinners.
