Deputy Foreign Minister Lisa Gashi sentenced to 500 euros in fine

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspore Lisa Gashi has been sentenced to 500 euros in fines after he was convicted of having declared his original property late, the 2022th Court on 15 June has accepted from the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina the indictment against Gashi for criminal work “grace or false reporting of property, income, [...]
Initially, the June 15th 2022 court has accepted from Pristina Foundation Prosecutorship the indictment against Gashi for criminal activity “Abreporting or false reporting of property, income, gift, other material benefits or financial obligations”.
Gashi in the quality of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspoas, even though she has been notified through the decision to appoint by Prime Minister Kurti, as well as by the contracting official within the ministry, the same property statement has been delayed.
Judge Erroll Gashi, after considering the indictment and paperwork, has accepted the prosecution's request for the release of the penal order.
The court has also clarified in its decision that the 500-euro fine sentence on Gashi is a merit decision and the decision by which it will prevent the accused Gashi from committing other criminal acts in the future.
The Minister for Industry, Interventor and Trader Roseta Hajdari, was sentenced to 700 euros in fines on December 29th, 2022 for failing to declare property. /Betimy for Justice
