The Health Ministry has cancelled the tender worth 716 thousand euros for maintenance of health Information System equipment, which was awarded to the company “Infosoft Systems” at the end of June of this year, writes Schneta newspaper.

The paper reported on this tender, titled ““, the maintenance of 70% of HW of SSH for Health Institutions”, which was initiated for maintenance of equipment called “Zero Client” used to register patients at SSH.

Computers “Zero Client” were purchased by the MSH through a tender in 2018 by the company “Infosoft Systems” worth about 4.6m euros, while being delivered to a QKUK warehouse in early 2020 where they stayed for almost three years, as much as they had guaranteed.

The maintenance tender, which was canceled by the Health Ministry, was to maintain these devices, which were already guaranteed by the company that sold them were never used.

According to the tender annulment announcement, the decision was taken at the request of UN Secretary-General Naim Bardiqi, who has rejected signing the contract.
