The Special Prosecutor has confirmed that he raided the Faruk Mujka house, chief executive chief of the Hydroeconomic Company Board “Iber-Lepenci”, and another official.
The report made to the media says that, at the request of the Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo, today the Order has been issued for raid by the Constitutional Court in Pristina, the Special Department, at two locations, the property of two suspects with F.M. and H.M. initials.
Under the supervision of the Special Prosecutor, Kosovo Police, the Special Investigation Unit, have conducted raids on these two locations, the property of the two suspects. During the raid at one location, among other things, the amount of money of sixty thousand 650,000 euros has been found and seized.
“Special Procurory reports there is reasonable doubt that defendants F.M. and H.M., in the quality of official persons, have deliberately exploited the office or official authority with the aim of benefiting the illegal property for themselves or for the other, have exceeded their official competencies and have not respected their duties and responsibilities to exercise their position under the law”, the statement said.
The Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo, in this case, announces public opinion that in May 2022, he has accepted information about allegations of abuse of official position and authority by two people, at the time part of the governing structures in the South Mitrovica municipality.
