The government Kurti has come to power in the crime and corruption fighting card, but in the first two years it has not shown any results in this regard.

In the first part of the Kurti Government's mandate, the two most prominent cases of corruption allegations have dealt with two former senior ruling party officials. Those involved in fighting these phenomena have not had it easy.

In fact, investigations into Ambassador Martin Berisha and KEK chief Nagip Krasniqi have even cost the two police officials the dismissal from their positions. These investigators have led the Directorate of Economic Crimes in the Kosovo Police and Task Force Against Corruption.

In April, former Kosovo Police Economic Crimes Director Musli Salhiu was fired just days after leading the investigative action against former KEK chief Nagip Krasniqi, who had been senior VV official.

So has Shemsie Haziri, who was dismissed from the position of Special Investigation Unit chief or previously known as the Task Force against Corruption. The unit he headed also investigated Nagip Krasniqi and Martin Berishaaj.

Shemsie Haziri, has indicated that he still does not know the reasons for the dismissal.

He has suggested he has warned that Monday he will make the decision and reason for the dismissal

“Yes, yes. I'm fired. I got confirmation. I don't know why. They didn't tell me. The decision, along with reasoning, has been said to be handed over to me Monday.” has said Haziri told the Nacional newspaper.

Asked whether his dismissal has resulted from investigations into KEK chief leader Nagip Krasniqi and Kosovo Ambassador to Croatia Martin Berishaj, Haziri has declined to respond. “
