Scytheright Mayor Fadil Nura in an interview for Periscope has talked about the recent dramatic developments in the country, as well as the needs of local governments where, according to him, they have never been colder with Government.
Nura also cited reports with internationals, sanctions the EU imposed on Kosovo, saying it is urgent that the Kurti government depart.
If we value it from the need of local government, there are many reasons. What's most significant is that, unfortunately, Kosovo is being led today by a completely national government that has broken relations with international partners, who have come together here on all processes, starting during the war period, statehood, where Kosovo should be a model in co-operation with the US and the EU, we have sanctions today and we are the only state that we have besides Russia sanctions from them. This will wake the people up, and this government should walk home as soon as it can, Nura said.
Nura also spoke of local governance, saying communication between the central and local government is zero.
The first of Skenderaj said the municipality does not even have minimal co-operation with the government.
There's never been any colder reports between local authorities and the Government. This is also presented by the Association of Kosovo municipalities, who really say and testify, and I experience this every day that communication is zero. There is no development in the domestic, destruction of international relations”, Nura said.
Skenderaj's chairman also spoke of the wiretap scandal, or “afer Zdravo”, with protagonists VV deputy chief Mimoza Kusari-Lila with Serbian List MP Slavko Si enemies.
Nura said Prime Minister Kurti has always had close reports with Serbs. He said the most irritating moment of those wiretapping was the part of the veterans.
The whole cause and the disk has built on what we've seen. Someone who knows the story a little longer, we know that the prime minister has always had relations with the Serbs today. There are police reports of where it was caught and why it was occupied at the time, and unfortunately it was already distributed by these wiretapping that was really irritating and were especially serious for the veterans category. This is to regret, this is the lowest level Kosovo has represented, this government”, Nura said. /Periscopi/
