That is how it has been made known in a Dutch government report, where the topic of discussion will be the tense situation between Kosovo and Serbia, but media freedom as well.
“Prime Minister Rutte will visit Serbia and Kosovo on Monday (July 3rd) and Tuesday 4th along with Luxembourg Prime Minister (Xavier) Bettel. The visit provides an opportunity to discuss tensions raised between Serbia and Kosovo and the importance for de- escalation and dedication to the EU-led dialogue for normalisation of the reports”, the report said.
According to the agenda, Rutte and Bettel on 4 July will stay in Kosovo, where they will meet Prime Minister Vjosa Osmani's president, Albin Kurti, of the heads of state with whom they will discuss, “others, recent developments in the region and the war in Ukraine”.
“Visita will end with a conversation with representatives of NGOs in Kosovo in the field of media freedom and LGBTIQ+”, the report says.
It has been several days since the Kosovo government, the Ministry of Industry, Intervention and Trade (MINT) respectively, has made a decision to abolish Klan Kosova sh.k's business certificate. Last night, US Ambassador Jeff Havenier said he is closely conveying this development, voicing confidence that the activities of the Kosovo Clan will continue, unhindered.
Apart from the ambassador, many of his colleagues, who are accredited in our country, have also expressed concerns, but also local and international organisations dealing with freedom of expression.
