First round of talks between the US and Iran: The mediators name it “progress encouraging”

The first round of negotiations between the US and Iran for reaching a final agreement that will end the war has ended with “encouraging region”, mediators Qatar and Pakistan have announced.
Talks began Sunday in Switzerland, following the initial agreement reached last week between the US and Iran. Throughout the week, discussions will continue at the technical level, writes BBC.
In a joint statement issued early Monday, Qatar and Pakistan announced that a “High Level Comits” has agreed on a guide aimed at reaching a final agreement within 60 days.
Iran's Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Arghchi, said the talks have brought the major <x0-progress <x0-x1> towards the end of the conflict in Lebanon.
The memorandum of understanding signed last week includes the commitment to reaching a final agreement within 60 days, as well as the ban on fighting at “all fronts” including in Lebanon ) and the reopening of the Hormuz Strait. /Periscope/
