What was found during the police action in northern Kosovo (FOTO)

Kosovo police have published images of weapons, ammunition and other illegal equipment seized in three different locations in Zubin Potok municipality.
According to the Regional Police Directorate's announcement in northern Mitrovica, the shares were held on 21 June following information received by citizens that weapons and other illegal means could be concealed in some facilities.
During raids on two items in the village of Presek and an uninhabited facility in the village of Ketevo, police have found and confiscated three M48-type rifles, hundreds of bullets of different calibres, caricators, pieces of camouflaged uniforms, light batteries, and equipment to load fishing bullets.



Among the secuested materials have also been found about two ounces [200 g] of gunpowder and about two kilograms [2 kg] of metal spheres used to load bullets.
All actions were carried out in co-ordination with the State Prosecutor, who has ordered the initialisation of cases for criminal activity “keep ownership, control or unauthorized possession of weapons”.
Police have announced that until this phase of investigations, there are no persons arrested, while thanking citizens for the co-operation and sharing of information contributing to public security. /Periscope/
