British Prime Minister Keir Starmer resigns

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said he would resign from the prime minister's position and from that of the leader of the Labusist Party.
He vowed to do everything in his power to ensure a regular transfer of power.
Speaking in front of the United Kingdom Prime Minister's Office in London, known as Downing Street, he said taking office two years ago was the most proud <x0...>moment"of his life, reports REL, transmton Periscope.
He said he went into politics to have the opportunity to improve the lives of millions of people, and added that each of his decisions has been intended to put into first"the place he loves".
Starmer took power after the general elections on 4 July 2024, when Labusists took the lead and ended 14 years of conservative government.
He said the process of choosing offspring will begin on 9 July, while his rival, Andy Burnham, is seen as the main candidate.
The question that my party is making now is whether I am the most appropriate person to lead us in the next general election. I have heard my parliamentary group's response to this question and kindly accept it", Starmer said.
His departure takes Britain towards its seventh leader in the last ten years. /Periscope
