“Meta” aims to extract “twitter” out of the game, soon Mark Zuckerberg's new app

The two technology giants, Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk, have long been in rivalry with each other. They even recently decided to face each other physically in a martial arts match. In the meantime today, Zuckerberg decided to take this rivalry to another level. The company he runs [...]

The company he runs “Meta” has announced launching a new app called “Thedas” which is expected to be available to the public on July 6th. This app will be quite similar to “itter” in its mode. Users will have the opportunity to share their thoughts with the audience. They will also be able to connect their account to this app with the account already available in “Instagram”, another app owned by “Meta”.

We remember that Elon Musk bought the “Twitter” app in October 2022 and has since made changes that have caused numerous controversy in the users of this social network.
This is also one of the reasons why this new app created by “Meta” is considered a direct competition of “Tatter”. Many field experts share that opinion.

James Clayton, a BBC American technology reporter, said that the connection this new app has with Instagram makes it possible to be a very strong Twitter competitor, unlike other apps.

It looks almost identical to Twitter, but it's not starting from zero as many other similar applications. The many Instagram users, they're the treasure of this app and so me and a lot of other journalists are excited by this app because it has the potential to influence the platform of Titter. So far this is the greatest threat that Elon Musk has faced” said Clayton on Radio 4.

Although almost everyone agrees that this app will be a very strong contestant for Twitter, experts are still unable to say whether this app will bring an end to Twitter or not. So is Steve Teixeira, who worked for both companies earlier, Twitter and Meta.

I think a new leader is coming to the field of microblogging, but we still can't conclude that Meta will win this duel.” He told the Wall Street newspaper.

While we remember that the app “THEads” will be officially launched on July 6th, and finally the impact of this app in the society will be placed by users themselves. It remains to be seen whether this will be able to bring down Twitter from the pedestal in which it is currently located.
