On this day of 2010, the International Court of Justice ruled that Kosovo's declaration of independence was in accordance with international law, giving a final seal to what those upholding human rights and justice knew all the time”.
President Osmani, who said that this court's decision is a call for countries that have yet to recognise Kosovo, to change their stance.
“13 years ago, the JND confirmed that Kosovo's declaration of independence has not violated international law. 13 years later, this historic opinion remains a call for countries that have not yet done so, join democracies worldwide, and acknowledge the irreversible reality of our sovereign Republic”.
