KFOR comes with important announcement of military exercise in western Kosovo

The announcement says that training activity will be carried out by multinational contingents RC, which will improve entity preparedness and preparation.
KFOR soldiers and vehicles will be deployed in municipalities of Istog, Shtrpce, Mamsuza, Decani, Gjakova, Dragas, Hanit of Elez and Kacanik.
Training activities will include night and day movements with land vehicles and helicopters over the municipalities of Gjakova, Shrpca and Mamma.
Heavy vehicles will transit along key and secondary roads within the region.
“KFOR performed such routine exercises for test purposes and training to provide a timely and secure response. KFOR seeks to ensure minimal impact on the civilian population and limit any disruption of commercial activities”, the KFOR communiqué says.
On the other hand, KFOR adds that it is focusing every day on implementing its mandate based on UN Resolution 1244 in 1999 to ensure a secure security and freedom of movement, in the best interests of all communities living in Kosovo.
