Former Kosovo Ambassador to Albania Sile Ukshini has spoken about Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti's refusal to meet his Albanian counterpart, Edi Rama.
Ukshini at Info Magazine in Klan Kosova spoke about “recoms” Kurti-Rama, where he said the latter has resentment at the Kosovo government's chief because of Vetevendosje Movement's participation in Albania's elections.
We must accept a fact, we are two states. On the other hand, Prime Minister Rama carries the will of Albanian voters. He may not be good for anyone. In these 30 years we have maintained an ethics of communication, we have not interfered with internal processes”, Ukshi said in Klan Kosova.
Otherwise, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti said the meeting between him and Albania's prime minister could occur only within the framework of the two governments' collection.
Weeks earlier, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama had cancelled attending the organised meeting of the two governments, which was to be held in Gjakova.
This is due to Kosovo's failure to listen to the international factor about the situation in the north.
