In the statement, it is claimed that assemblywoman Berna Saraci has received threats and blackmail from parties of power at the local level.
According to the VV, it itself has presented these threats at the latest meeting of the Centre's leadership.
At the final meeting of the Centre's leadership with the assembly group, former assemblywoman Berna Saraci has presented her concerns in relation to the threats and blackmail being made to her and her family by local government's exhibits. The VV says she's worried about the former colleague, alluding to receiving threats.
We're worried about Bern as our former colleague but also as citizens of this city. Women in politics need support but, above all, for determination to face any related blackmail for their political activity. Also in our knowledge this is a clear case of threat, so we call on justice institutions to begin investigations into the” case, she has stated.
