The Vetevendosje movement is continuing criticism of dialogue mediators, on the eve of the possible Kurti-Vuchic meeting in Brussels. According to the ruling party, EU foreign policy representative Josep Borrell and dialogue mediator Miroslav Lajcak is unfair to Kosovo.
The majority MP, at the same time chairman of the parliamentary Commission for Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Arbene Kryziu-Hyseni, tells Kosovo that Borrell and Lajcak are willing to submit the dialogue on topics that benefit Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq.
Hence, according to her, the latter through criminal structures is creating tension in the north in order to get something out of these situations.
“I am very disappointed and desperate by the approach the EU foreign policy chief has shown to face the whole process. For me, the EU values are much beyond what we have seen recently, in particular with the uneven approach shown in relation to Kosovo and Serbia”, she says.
According to the head of the Commission for Foreign Affairs, the situation in the north is proving that Serbia has never been ready to go towards normalisation of reports, much less towards mutual recognition.
The European Union is expecting Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, to accept the invitation to the meeting in Brussels without setting any conditions.
The country's prime minister, Albin Kurti, has indicated ready to go to Brussels for a meeting with Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq. Kurti said he would respond positively to the European Union's invitation for a summit this week, as he said to prove Serb aggression in Kosovo following the kidnapping of three policemen.
He said that the de-explosion of the situation the internationals are demanding means the immediate and at least the release of three Kosovo police officers and the condemnation of Serb aggression by the international community.
While the Serbian president, former Milosevic's minister, Aleksandar Vuciq, indicated he would not talk with the prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo until the arrested Serbs who are suspected of criminal acts are released, as well as the elected mayors leave on April 23rd and withdraw the special unit.
