Svechla after the arrest of “Rusit”: The Republic is not afraid, each will answer for every crime

Following Serbia's arrest from northern Mitrovica, known as “Russia”, Interior Minister Jelal Svecla has reacted.

In a Facebook post, Svela has said that the “criminal countries in the north of our country over the years have exercised terror over our citizens through their various criminal acts”.

He has said they are determined to bring to justice all gangs aimed at darkness against citizens and destabilising the country.

Criminal gangs north of our country over the years have exercised terror over our citizens through their various criminal acts.

Our citizens, especially those Albanians, have been expelled from their homes, those who have been beaten, tortured and terrorised by these criminal groups. Many have left it precisely because of this terror systematically exerted by the criminal structure at the order of Belgrade. The same acts have happened to the citizens of Serbian ethnicity who have recognised and collaborated with our institutions.

Last night, 15 to 20 people have beaten up two young Albanians. This act, like any other, is unacceptable and our organs are committed to bringing attackers to justice as soon as possible.

On the other hand, Kosovo Police today have arrested Nenad Orlovic, known with nicknames “Nemac” and “Russia”, who is suspected of attacking KFOR on May 29th day in Zvecan where many soldiers remain injured. Indignity and amnesty among years of such criminals has resulted in brutal attacks on KFOR, of which over 30 members were injured. Everyone who has organized and was part of those attacks will be brought to justice.

The Republic is not afraid. Every soul will be held accountable for every crime. We will go on and on, in the war against all gangs aimed at terror against our citizens and destabilizing our country.
