Suspected of illegal photography, Inspectorate rules a police officer

The Kosovo Police Inspectorate has announced that a police official has been suspended today at the recommendation of the IPK by the Kosovo Police.

According to the report, IPK investigators have accepted information today concerning the suspicion that a police officer of the Emergency Response Unit, the South Mitrovica Regional Police Directorate, is suspected of unauthorized photography or recording.

In addition, investigators have reportedly taken some investigative actions, while as part of the administrative procedures, along with the investigation being conducted by the police official has been suspended.

IPK investigators will continue to take further investigative actions towards the full lighting of this case in consultation with the competent prosecutor and in line with the legal authorization of the Police Inspectorate.
