This is due to the protest that has been warned by Serbs today in Gracanica.

Police announce they will redirect traffic to this part until the end of the protest.

“No room for road jam. Kosovo police, aimed at ending the warned protest, which will be held today in Gracanica, starting from 11:30 to the end of the protest, will redirect traffic for vehicles running from Pristina to Gjilan and vice versa, since the main road in Gracanica will not be circulated for traffic until the end of the protest. Therefore, to cope with the circumstances that will be presented in the road, we seek the help and understanding of all traffic participants so that, over time, protests will exploit alternative ways”, police report says.

Serbs have protested yesterday in Gracanica following the arrest of Dragisa Milenkovic, who allegedly committed crimes during the war period in Kosovo (1998-1999).

Kosovo police have indicated that, to the same, evidence has been provided for the existence of reasonable doubt that, in co-ordination with other members, during the war period in Kosovo in the qualities of official (prisoned prison) persons in Pristina and in parallels shared by Pristina specifically in the Lipjan prison, allegedly exercised torture, physical violence, psychics, inhuman and extreme abuse of life for Albanian prisoners.
