Interior Minister Bratislav Gashic has stated in Serbia's Parliament that he has not accused Germany of protecting the Serb politician from Kosovo, Oliver Ivanov, but that his statement has been misreported.
He has said there was a <x0-point question” in the section where he said that the person Serbia claims to be Ivanovic's killer is under German authorities' protection.
On 21 June, Gashi said Serbian authorities know exactly” who killed Oliver Ivanoviqi.
He said that Serbian police have requested from German authorities this person “under whose protection he is”.
The German Embassy in Pristina has exposed Gashi, saying Germany has no knowledge of who killed Ivanovic on January 16th 2018.
“Declarations saying the handover is under German authorities' protection are not true. The German government has not accepted any requests from Serbian authorities on this issue”, REL said in response.
