Security Council Gathers

This morning the Kosovo Security Council is meeting, following developments in the north, where three Kosovo Police officials were kidnapped yesterday by Serb forces. Police named it “kidged classic organised” within Kosovo territory, while in Belgrade they were said to have been arrested by the anti-terror units of Serbian gendarmerie within Serbia's territory, in the Raska municipality.
Police have announced that the police unit has been in office deep inside Kosovo's territory to prevent the use of illegal routes.
Interior Affairs Minister Xhelal Svecla has declared he does not know where kidnapped police are, but has stressed that they are under arrest and are being held in the hands of Serbia's institutions.
“We don't know where they are, the location they're being held in, are under arrest in the hands of Serbia's institutions. Our reaction is clear. Under one, we are co-ordinating with the international community to make it extremely clear to this criminal step of Serbia, as well as to use all influence that officials who have carried out their duties in their country, on their territory, to return to Kosovo as soon as possible along with equipment, with all things”, he added.
As a result of this event, the Government announced that institutions have decided not to allow the entry of Serbia's license plates into Kosovo, and so has the introduction of goods from Serbia.
