Rama: Albania thinks West, rejects way in Kosovo

Albania's prime minister, Edi Rama, has stressed that Albania does not shift from the axis of the Euro-Atlantic community to Kosovo. “Albania is a NATO member, there is no chance of moving away from the axis of the Euro-Atlantic community, we think 100 percent the way our allies think. “Albania is a NATO member, there is no chance of moving away from the axis of the Euro-Atlantic community, we think 100 percent the way our allies think.
We as a country are 100% against the way it is being conducted in Kosovo.
Albania's relations with the Euro-Atlantic community and the position Albania has won in this community do not want anyone to question, and for no reason, the less a situation where Kosovo is threatened by the reason of unreasonableness and a wrong strategic decision. Kosovo is entering a dramatic crash course with the Euro-Atlantic community”- Rama said.
The head of the government warned that sanctions awaiting Kosovo if the Euro-Atlantic community continues to reject are severe.
And it's not up to me to comment on these, nor do I want to think about them because these are not just the measures this community takes to non-friendly countries. This community is forced to take over a state that created it itself. Even if they are temporary as measures, the destabilising effect on Euro-Atlantic relations with Kosovo will not be temporary. Faith and support will no longer be the same. And that attitude will continue not only towards Albin Kurti's government, but also to the following governments”- Rama said.
