Krasniqi has said that due to President Osmani's indifference in relation to recent developments and due to its neglect of its constitutional obligation to guarantee civic unity, maintain relations with strategic international partners and act as an institution on the parties, she has rejected her invitation.

I received a letter from President Osmani that he invited me to the meeting after a proposal by the AAK chairman. Meanwhile, during these difficult days for Kosovo, I have indignantly noted that the president has remained silent and neglected its constitutional obligation to guarantee civic unity, maintain relations with the strategic international partners and act as an institution on the parties. So, starting with these, but also other reasons that I have outlined in my letter of response, I have seen fit to refuse to participate in this” meeting, Krasniqi wrote.
