Kurt criticises Rama: His Decision to Cancel Unreasonable Meeting

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has named Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama's decision to cancel the two governments' meeting, scheduled to be held Wednesday in Gjakova. He has declared that government meetings cannot be replaced with meetings of prime ministers, as Rama requested. Kurt said [...]
Kurti has said that canceling the meeting means nothing to Kosovo-Albania reports.
This meeting was prepared months ago and with Prime Minister Rama we are in contact and I meet often, but the meetings of the two governments are something else. Government meetings with prime ministers' meetings cannot be replaced because we had to sign 13 agreements. We have 13 agreed agreements waiting in the drawer and I consider their not signing today to be wrong and every day they are not signed and applied is bad for our citizens. Of course that does mean nothing as far as attitude, behaviour between Kosovo and Albania. We are two states, but we are of the same nation and we have to work as hard as possible. In effect, the gathering of governments, which for my belief is unreasonable that it is not held today”, Kurti said in a statement to reporters after placing blood in the tent located at “Mother Teresa” Square.
Kurti has said that on Saturday, in the organisation for marking the 145th anniversary of the Prizren League, along with Albania's leaders have talked about organising Wednesday's meeting.
No minister has been warned about either of the agreements. Everything had to go as best, but this annulment was made by Rama and the annulment of the meeting as it should be called does not belong to me”, Kurti said.
